gosh the weather is killing me. it's so darn humid and hot. arghs. actually it's worse staying at home cuz i can feel the four walls around me radiating heat. it's MUCH worse if im playing dota with my brother & sister, using 2 computers and 1 laptop. those electronic items radiates a substantial amount of heat too. haha. it's as though im in a sauna even after one game.

anyway i just received a bad news that my cousin wont be joining me on the zoo excursion trip. i suggested bringing her along as i felt she was missing out on a childhood. her parents are just too busy with their work. so when charles agreed, i happily filled her in with all the details. we even plan for her to stay over at my hse the night before. but my plans are thwarted as my other aunties successfully convinced her not to go. right at this moment, i've lost my respect for them. i mean my cousin wants to have some fun. but there they are, psycho-ing them not to go cuz of a lousy reason - the weather is too hot.

okie that may sound a NEARLY logical reason from a parent/aunty point of view. but i just cant accept such a crazy reason. why cant they let a child have some fun? why cant they let a child sweat? or maybe are they worried she'll have a heat stroke?

if so, gosh, we got to save 69 other kids who may be going to suffer from a heat stroke!

haiz.

yup im disappointed.

today is the first day of spiritmaker's kindergarden excursion at kent ridge park. it was my first time there and yup, the view from the top is spectacular. coincidentally i spotted a rainbow (: with half of it hiding behind some clouds.

the storyline of this 3 days excursion is about this pirate finding back his lost treasure. shawn was dressed in this cheapo-looking pirate suit. haha. it was funny! even the skull was upside down and a kid pointed that out. smart kiddo! it was a refreshing experience managing such puny-sized and fragile children. my group love that spongebob squarepants's song so much. whenever we felt that the grp's energy was running low, javier will lead the grp in singing it. and mind you, it's LOUD & CLEAR. hahaha.

'it's not spongebob... it's spongiebob!'

'monkeys are watching movies on the tree'

'my hand is aching. very painful.' *shows me that painful facial expression. 'can help me carry my worksheet?'

im looking forward to wed and fri. (:

such energetic kids sap my energy real fast. i'll be half dead after a morning's activity. this reminds me of my junior college days when i used to volunteer at daybreak student service centre. when the kids have their nap time in the afternoon, i'll also sleep tog with them, just that im without a sleeping bag and a pillow. haha. i volunteered to sleep. =P
